The sex slaves next door: New form of trafficking invades US
Sex Trafficking is the new form of modern day slavery. Young women and children are lured away from their homes and families to an unfamiliar country based on the promise of “A Better Life.” Women and children that have fallen to socio economic hardships are easy targets for these predators. These women and children are illegally transported into the US by a group known as the “coyote.” Potential sex slave victims are transitioned to a standardized “stash house” in which is deemed as a “normal” community based neighborhood prior to being relocated. Women are then sent to “brothels” where they are convinced is the way to repay the debt of the relocation. These women are then placed into constant systems known as “rotations” where they are frequently moved to various locations, which are chosen by their debtor.
